Peter Phun doesn’t believe a photographer’s skill level is determined entirely on the length of time they have been actively engaged in photography. Instead, he thinks being methodical and having an open mind and an ability to analyse good pictures are just as important.
He has taught photography at Art Institute Inland Empire, La Sierra University, Riverside City College, UCR Extension & the Riverside Art Museum.
Peter is one of only two photographers in the city of Riverside whose work is displayed on the walls of the Riverside Convention Center. Peter worked as a full-time photographer for the Press-Enterprise from 1983 to 2004.

Carlos Puma’s approach to photography is simple: Telling people’s stories visually.
He does this creatively and honestly through the use of light, composition and story-telling moments. Whether photographing a major event such as the NBA Finals, or whether he's taking a portrait, photographing a wedding or one of his personal documentary projects, his approach is the same.
Five years as a photographer in the U.S. Navy, nine years as staff photographer for The Press-Enterprise newspaper in Riverside, and freelance work for the Los Angeles Times and Washington Post has given him the experience to photograph any event.
Puma is the winner of many photojournalism awards, including a World Press Photo award in 2001.
